STOCKHOLM, Sweden – 10th Dec 2009 – Transmode, a leading provider of optical networking solutions, today announced that Carl-Olof Nydén has been appointed as Vice President Operations & Customer Services.  

Mr. Nydén joins the Transmode team from Nera Networks AS at a time when meeting increased customer expectation and fast logistical supply is vital to the company. During his time at Nera Networks Mr. Nydén was Director Service and Repair and Global SCM logistics with responsibility for global logistics and service and repair operations. He previously spent eight years working for various telecommunications component developers in China and Japan.

Mr. Nydén has more than 20 years' experience in the telecommunications industry, having previously held senior purchasing and logistical management roles with other global companies including Ericsson, Perlos and Nera. "I am delighted to be joining the team and I am looking forward to contributing to further profitable growth at Transmode," he commented.

Mr. Nydén will lead Transmode’s Operations & Customer Services group that encompasses all aspects of production and logistics, quality control, order administration, customer training and post-sales customer support and technical assistance.
